Who We Are
HSC IT Consulting Limited is an IT company which was created to meet the technology needs of the clients of Hilton Sharp & Clarke, a 6 partner firm of chartered accountants in Brighton.
In 2004 the partners of Hilton Sharp & Clarke made a decision to source a paperless office solution to replace their paper based filing cabinet system, which was expensive and time consuming. After an exhaustive search of the document management providers in the market it became apparent that none were suitable. In fact it seemed hard to believe that any of the companies had ever worked in an office where correspondence files are regularly referred to.
The partners therefore gave HSC IT Consulting a simple brief: “develop a document management system which replaces our existing paper based correspondence files with on-screen versions in the same format, whilst reducing access and retrieval times. Furthermore, ensure it is simple to use whilst providing us with the comfort of knowing that documents cannot be misfiled, cannot go missing, and that filing and storage costs will soon be a thing of the past.”
From this clear brief and market need Flickthru was developed - an inexpensive, intuitive solution that closely fitted the working practices of a busy firm of chartered accountants. Flickthru was created for accountants by accountants!

Our company is situated in the beautiful City of Brighton on the south coast.
By Road:
The best way to get to our offices by road is to enter Brighton via the A23 and follow this into the city until you see The Royal Pavilion ahead and on your right. Turn right immediately before the Royal Pavilion into Church Street and there is a multi-storey car park about 200 metres further on. You will pass New Road on the way to the parking, so retrace your steps about 50 metres and New Road is the second road on your right after Bond Street.

By Rail:
There are frequent direct services to Brighton from London: Southampton via Portsmouth; and Hastings via Eastbourne and Lewes. There are also less frequent trains from Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol. The station is only 10 minutes walk from our offices. Walk South down Queens Road toward the seafront. Turn left down Church Street towards The Royal Pavilion and New Road is off to the right about 300 metres down.
